RK I started on my Pinto yesterday and have the wing completed except for the cap strips. If I had to do it again I would have sheeted the leading and trailing edges with 1/16 and not the 1/32 they suggested. The 1/32 is very easy to dent or put your finger thru while handling....as me how I know...lol
Also, the inboard wing tip drawing doesn't give you enough info considering the size of the adjustable lead outs they supply. The ones I got were big enough for a Strega! I had to cut them down and used soft balsa blocks with the lead out installed into the shaped blocks.
Also I noticed that they don't use any plywood doublers in the nose. I'm going to make some doubles out of 1/32 plywood. I don't want the nose breaking off on a not so smooth belly landing . BTW I'm not going to use landing gear,We fly off grass and with wheels that small it would never get airborne. I'll post some pics as I go along, you do the same. Best of luck....PhillySkip
