Thought I'd post this photo of a 1/2 A starter that I put together. It's just a crude assembly, but works fine. It's a Sullivan Hornet starter motor and a 12V NiMH (10 cell) pack using 4/5SC cells. The pack is held to the starter with hot melt. I'll make it look nicer when I get a chance.
