I am not a computer genius.... That being said. Is the fact that the stunthanger web address does not include an http:// marking make this site unsecured and if so does this also affect the stunthanger hobby shop page where I am apt to give my credit card or paypal info. ? My concern originates from a message on stunthanger page that comes up when I click the sign in space. This message says that the site is not secure and that signing on puts my personal info at risk. If this is a problem the sites manager just has to change a small thing in the address. Maybe nothing to worry about. Please let me know if you have any info. Phil

Phil,
I keep little money in my PayPal. It's the ONLY way I pay for anything on the Web.
I have a close friend who is that computer genius. He designs applications and software. Makes a good living.
I've seen him hack Websites and Forums. He just plays, he never takes a site down, as he easily could, unlike other hackers.
You have good reason to NOT want to use a credit card on line. Soooooooooo, I would pay with PayPal and use a Bank account with limited funds, just to be sure.
I never have more than 200.00 in my PayPal bank acount. I just want to be sure.

Phil, no computer genius here, but I believe that secure sites use the https ?
I am fairly certain that when you pay on stunthanger hobby it is secure, message Robert and he will clear it up for certain.
That said, I use paypal as well, its been pretty well shown to be secure since you never actually transmit your info ( other than your paypal password but its encrypted)

It has been brought to my attention the the (s) in https:// is the security part of the address. For whatever that is worth. Thanks for the replies.
