Initially, recognized me as guest.
Checked cookie config., all okay.
tried to log in, still recognized as guest.
selected "forgot password", when asking for secret question, system replied with my "User name" . deleted same and asked again, received e-mail w/ address for new PW creation.
created new password
okay, this worked. next log on recognized as Guest, system did not recognize my new password..
numerous repeats of above, ????????????????????
I "think" I am okay on my end!

I have a buddy that had the same exact thing last night. I PM'd Sparky and it was fixed. The only thing I can think of to check is your SH registered email. If it was wrong for some strange reason, you might not be able to log in.

Problem returned, see post below.
SH will not accept the "new" password that worked last night prior to shutdown.
"IF" I go to my email and open a SH message saying I have a new post on SH ......, I can open the e-mail, read it as it is displayed on the forum, then click on "Home". I then have recognition by SH and can open all and send this message.
cookies checked, all others work for other sites, firewall checked.
??????????????? Help! suggestions.

That's some kooky sounding problem, Roger. Beats me, if you haven't asked Sparky yet, see what he thinks. Good luck.

What ever log in issues your having is on your end. Nothing has changed here sorry I can't offer more. Log out clear cashe and log back in choose stay logged in for ever.
