They are similiar in layout, but without seeing some sort of plan there is no way to be certain. Ka-10 was based on measurements of Kolesnikov's 1986 F2B plane, the Yatsenko ship like the one imaged at the contest has had almost 20 years additional development. The plan I have seen of the "Classic 2" Yatsenko ship has, at a minimum, thicker wing, different airfoil, longer tail moment, different flap configuration.
I have considered doing exactly what you are doing tho, regarding making a KA-10 / "Yatsenko" plane. I think its a cool idea! The Retro is such an awesome motor, I bet any plane even remotely close to the Yatsenko will be a great flyer!
