I found out the Viking was designed by Carl Malmstren.  The BCC was kitted by F&B but still have no idea who designed it.

Viking was kitted by F&B, and Boxcar was kitted by Ricks Mfg.

Dave Day has the BCC listed as designed by Smith and kitted by Ricks Model Co kit (MAN)

Dave has bee campaigning one with significant success for some years.  I always look forward to seeing it at the Nationals (UK)
