Warbird #16 project complete!
« on: August 25, 2014, 08:11:37 PM »
Another Warbird plan is now ready for distribution. This time it is again a two for one plan, the F-86 A and the F-86 D. Since the real ones both used the same wing, I did too. Note, the drawing process was started before the F-86 deal in Model Aviation hit the press, that was just luck. Having done about 6 or 7 of these, both full fuselage and profile I can attest that they do fly well. I will send these out as PDF docs so we can both save some money!

I'm in for a copy of the file. When was it presented in Model Aviation? I'm about 3 months behind in my reading.
  Thanks a lot,

Here is a picture of Don's 2nd full bodied F-86. It flew very well. It certainly was a thing of beauty, and proved that an unusual (for stunt) planform can be made to work. His profile version also flew very well.

This design, IMO, is well worthy of kitting. Mr. Brodak, are you listening? ;D
