Use Model Aviation Plans for GEO XL?
« on: January 03, 2014, 08:28:39 PM »
I have to build one soon. Is this the plan that these are built from? Model Aviation lists it in 2001. I see some people have changed the size of it, too.
I will build it. It's gonna be really difficult to find me with an ARF. I know every bit of my airplane!

Hi Doug:

Yup, the plans you are looking for are the ones published with the article about the Geo-XL in Model Aviation. Billy drew the pencils for that ship and I inked them (that was BC - Before CAD. Or at least before I started messing with CAD...).

Billy and I built the wing for the Geo-XL in my shop here in PA and we used my Lost-Foam process to do that. If you are interested in the Lost-Foam system, please send me an email and I'll send you in return four (4) PDF files that make up the instruction manual for the Lost-Foam system. This offer goes for all who read this... My email address is robinhunt(at)rcn(dot com).
