Warbird #15
« on: April 04, 2013, 08:07:42 PM »
Here we go again! I have completed the drawings to another Warbird profile. This is the Beech T-34C Turbo Mentor. 510 sq ins wing area, 22% tail. Should build light and with a tricycle gear a real point stealer! Plan includes the color scheme for a Navy Training Air Wing 4 aircraft.
I will be shipping to those who have asked for this one early next week.  If you would like a copy, let me know, I'm asking $15.00 shipped to your door.

Here's a (fuzzy) photo of Dave Ek's T-34 built from those plans.

I got a preview of the plans earlier this week.  The airplane is slightly larger than Dave Ek's. The turbo version lengthens the nose and will require little or no nose weight. The longer moments are PERFECT. This airplane will fly with the best of them!

  Hi Don;
    Put me in line for a copy also. I may have emailed you already, this is just a follow up. I would like to finish mine like Lew McFarland's personal airplane. Anybody got pics of that? Maybe I'll have to check with Charlie Reeves.
   Type at you later,

Dan-
Your drawings are on the way. If Lew's airplane is a B model with a recip engine, I can send you a modified nose outline for that airplane.  All builders: you will need to cut a 1/4 by 1/2 piece out from the back of the wing spars for the bellcrank mount. Oops!
