Title: Profile Stearman PT-17 design
Post by: Don Hutchinson AMA5402 on February 01, 2009, 09:18:25 PM
Went skiing for a week and did not bust tokus but now can't find previous posts on this subject. I'm ready to come up with a finished set of prints for the seventh warbird design but need to know how much interest is out there. It will be about 520 sq ins for a good 36 or 40 and should fly as good or better than the full fuselage version. Preliminary "engineering is done", ready to make final drawings if ya'll really want this airplane. A biplane with flaps and close to scale profile. A real pretty airplane in Navy or Army Air Force coloring!

I am on it! Will keep ya'll posted on progress. Tell me how you wish to color yours and maybe I can help. Can also supply the source drawings from whence the finished product emerges! American Modeler, 1961, a real neat set of drawings of the real Stearman structure.
