The drawings are finished and really came out good! They have the makings of four different Thunderbolts on them plus a cool way to build elliptical wings. I will get copies run off tomorrow. Ordered 20 shipping tubes from the PO today so there may be a few days delay shipping after I run out of the present stash.

Don,
I bought your Corsair plans a while ago and hand cut the ribs and did a mock-up of the wing to get an idea of the span and mechanisims. I ended up with a gross incidence problem between the center rib and the crook where the wing begins to have dihedral. ENTIRELY MY FAULT as I traced the problem to me hand cutting the spar cutouts inaccurately. The outbd. panels turned out fine.
Short of a Laser cut set of ribs (Day dreaming...), what's the best way to cut the spar cuts out accurately? I thought of a rib center line and a verticle line 90 deg. to that? Can I some how stack these and cut them all at once (table saw)? Not much experience "scratch-building" large models.

Doug- Wish I had some magic answer but all I can say is to be very accurate when cutting the parts. You did pick a lulu to work on.

About a dozen P-47 drawings are going to go out as soon as I get shipping boxes from the PO. Hopefully early next week as I am going skiing the following week! When I get back, will begin preliminary work on the Mustang.
