Curious?
« on: April 21, 2009, 10:36:45 AM »
In the article about the Thunderbolt in Aero Modeler magazine, it clearly states that Bill Morley undertook designing the Thunderbolt in 1951!  If that is true and the airplane has existed since 1951 it would be eligible for Old Time Stunt here in the U.S. Anyway.  Neville or someone in the U.K. Do you know if the Aero Modeler article is correct in saying that the T-Blot has existed since 1951?

Thanks,

Jim,
Your best bet would be to e-mail Dave Platt! He and Bill Morley were in the same club in the 50's. Bill Morley is still about and comes to model meetings now and then. I'll see if he is contactable!

Jim,

Have you had a look at Dave Day's control line site? Lots of info there!

Neville,

Dave Day's web site just gives the date of the Aeromodeller article, it doesn't say anything about the text in the article.
