How Do You Get to ETC , ' Oh, Argh . . . T' Wouldnt Start from here, then .  %^@

Started drawing this from a Caudron Id Drawn . ( Conversion ) . The Thought had crossed my mind a few days ago To do it from my Folkerts drawing.
Been mussing over this occasionally for years . The hole in the spinner front is actually a little disc to activate a bladder for the Ratier Prop ' high gear '
same as a DeH 88 Comet . ! Anyway , drew up using the Caudron ( Which is a Hara Nobler ! ) scaled up to 60 Wings Fuse Moments etc . minimalist .

Blew up a few photocopies yesterday , and got out the ruler . The Folkerts Wing Chords & Taper work out within 1/8 in of my freehand Folkerts Wing,
If I use Even % of Chord Flaps , So I Have ( redrawn to use this & its moments etc ). more tip chord on the flaps wont slow things , Fuse ( Goon )
is a tiny bit shallower , but wider . hinge to hinge is 18 in. Swept T.E.

The Folkerts was best in light drift of howling gales , so if the sucker flys the same ( or better  ;D ) it should be a usefull ship .

Something to look at , for now . Anyway .

Only Concern is if I do a 1/16 sht/ ' D ' tube wing , it'll be more brittle than the I beam with spuce caps detroiter Id Used . So maybe I'll use
the I beam type . :-\

Theres some good pictures of Art Chesters Swee Pea , Goon & Jeep HERE https://www.flickr.com/photos/sdasmarchives/4589754493/in/photostream/.

After several hours poring of picture trying to ascertail if the windsceer IS ' V ; eed , like ive drawn & intend to use . . . Come Across THIS now ,

Matches the replicer , so it might be right .  :##

Havnt come across a solinoid ' push / pull - pin ' to hook a spring or rubber band to , for retracts , butve figured a simplish mechanism for that type of actuation . Will see how we go there .

Proves the ' good ' scale drg's are o.k. tho .

Not sure if I should do a replacement Folkets First , 40 or 51 ( x 1.2 ) , This , or BOTH simultaeneously . been Trying to find seven good sheets of 2 mm ( .077 In. ) Balsa for a fully sheeted wing , maybe tamara .
