Torquette "Drag Race"

Part of the Dale Kirn Knights' Joust is a speed contest using one design Dale Kirn "Torquette" biplane proto speed 1/2A models.

Today, Mike Alurac hit 73.2 mph a average from a standing start for 1/2 mile. Engine was a Pico modified by Doug Galbreath to be .050 displacement and go like heck!
