SPEED GRUNTS FOR TODAY...FROM YESTERDAY
Help my demented Rainier brew destroyed brain cells. (could also be just old age, I hit big 69 last Sat. Ouch!
Which nats was this...shot of Chris Sackett of BC and is that Dale Kirn...next to him?
Yes...I know the photo is BAAASSSSAKWARD!
Here is the flipp side and now we know that the gent next to Chris it is Bill Wagner. n~

I hate to say it, but, neither one of those guys is Dale Kirn. I am thinking maybe Luke Roy. Where Chris when we need him as he would know. Later, DOC Holliday
-
My guess for the other guy...is Al Stegans.
Chris apparently still flys some freeflight and Stunt.

Definitely not Dale Kirn or Luke Roy. As Les says, maybe Unkle Alfie, but not too sure of that. Might be easier to tell if the slide was turned over so we wouldn't be looking at a mirror image.
When was the picture taken?

Jimmy, you are still sharp as a tack. I had to go look and seen the K&B fuel can. Now maybe we can figure out the number on the wing. Have fun, DOC Holliday

Shultzie,
You are an old man. I don't reach 69 years old until a month from today. Of course Doc Holliday has us both beat in that category. At least I think he does. That looks like some russian fuel with the backwards K&B. Kinda like cyrilic (sp)? Do you know when and where the picture was taken?
Can you flip the picture so it is not a mirror image?

Sorry Doc,
I didn't realize you were such a young pup. For some reason I thought you were older than me. Actually a lot of us are older than we would like to admit. I guess it beats the alternative. I mean the one where you don't get any older any more.
They say you are only as old as you feel. After shovelling snow thim morning I definitely feel my age.
See you at Tucson in a month Doc and we'll fly some OTS & Classic.

Every day above ground is a good one! #^ And I admit I am older than Doc. S?P
also : If you cant have a bit of fun everyday - it isn't worth getting out of bed in the morning. LL~

Thanks Les, is he still around? DOC Holliday

Hey Doc
I don't know, I've never met him. I only know who it is because that same picture is on another website with a cutline below it. Here is a link to the website.

Last I heard, Bill Wagner was mechanic for his daughter on snowmobiles or something of that sort. Sad, huh?! If he's still around Portland, he's a bunch older than me, and I'll be 63 in June, if I make it that long. ??? Steve
