Model Speed Computer - Old School method. We were going thru some old contest equipment and found this speed calculator. If you know the equations we can now use our smart phones to calculate the speed in MPH. The Lafayette Esquadrille is based in St Louis and this speed calculator was made in St Charles which is 30 minutes west of St Louis. We now use a modern calculator to calculate the speed.
