Title: question on replacement P/L'ers for Rossi 60
Post by: Lane Puckett on January 22, 2021, 05:25:42 PM
A few years ago I was at a collecto and one of the tether car guys indicated that there is another manufacture that built a 60 in the mid 1960's and those Piston/Liners were a direct replacement for the Rossi 60.  For the life of me I can't recall who that manufacture was.

Does anyone recall another motor maker that has P/L'ers that are a direct replacement into a Rossi 60?

As I recall it was a well known manufacture.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Lane

I only ever saw one as a 14 yr old, so memory based on 40+ yrs ago. I think the Rossi unit was based off the McCoy 60 Red Head Piston/Liner. I think they were nearly identical, but like I said, memory from many years ago...

Thank you for the notes.  As I recall the discussion it was a more recent manufacture.  I'm going to try posting to the AMRCA Face Book page to see if the tether car guys know.  If I get a response I will post the information here as well.
