DOC's Perky
« on: May 19, 2010, 04:28:23 PM »
This was done a couple of weeks ago and I am just now getting pictures.  It has a Fox .15 Schnurle in the power department.  Need to go check rules for line sizes.  It is as close to the plan as I could get.  It is a Black Hawk kit. H^^

52'-6" x .014" solids, for the Nats.

On the local level, you can often get by with .015" stranded, on the theory that's a it's a non Rule Book event and it's more like a combat or sport plane than an actual Speed model.

Look great Doc! I've got a Perky kit on the shelf that I need to get at sometime, they look like fun. I might stick an Enya .19 in it though just because I've got a nice one sitting here that needs a home. I suppose that would take me out of the game though if I wanted to do the Perky postal thing or whatever they call it.
Narrowly averting disaster since 1964!
