For those who were not at Brodak's Friday evening.
Team Rootbeard had the fastest Junk Yard Wars model hands down.

O' this was supposed to be stunt planes??

Engine: OS 25 F ABC on fixed Venturi.  Launch at 11,000 RPM on a 9 x 6 Master Airscrew.

rootbeard should enter B speed at the nats. with the usual low turn out he could probably get second.

Doc
It passed the 25 lb pull test at Brodak's.  It needs new motor mounts as the soft pine ones broke when it did not clear the ground on an outside loop.  The bellcrank mounting bolt is through one of the motor mounts so with new maple mounts it would pass any pull test required.

Jack Sheeks, a member of Team Rootbeard, inspecting the model when finished.
