Title: Perky Speed at Middlesex
Post by: C.T. Schaefer on October 14, 2019, 07:27:48 AM
Yesterday was a perfect day to be flying. The attendance was not huge but, maybe because of that, we had plenty of time to make sure that everyone who wanted to, had the opportunity to get the best from their machines.
Here are the results   Schaefer   101.7
                                  Ernie Evon  101.4
                                  Raul Diaz     #1   86
                                  Raul  Diaz    #2   82.1
                                  Dennis  Warchol    NT
Raul had 4 planes with him and was able to get times on two of them #1  used a rear ex Nelson  and #2  had an Irvine.  #3  was powered with a Parra. we were not able to get a time for it. Maybe next month? The top 2 times were sort of a shoot out between two old school motors.  Schaefer used his kit Perky powered by a Mkll Rossi and a couple of different props to eke out the win.  Ernies plane had an inverted, Big Al tuned, Cox and a 6.5x5 apc. Big Al did not fly but chose to spend his day helping everyone else. Thanks Al!

Two more meets on the schedule in November.
