Title: Nelson Plugs
Post by: Jim Damerell on May 14, 2019, 07:28:29 AM
I will ask this question here, hoping someone here will know. How do you tell the difference between a Nelson Hot, and an HD? I have been told the shape of the tip is different, a ball on the hot, a point on the HD. I have also been told the bore around the element is bigger on the HD. I have just bought Hot plugs from a reputable vendor, and they have the small (.090) bore and the pointed tip. Is there a way to check the resistance?
Any help?

You can also identify the difference of the opening where the element is located. The hot plug has a larger opening.
