There was plenty of Speed being flown at this year's NATS. Most of the results for rulebook events are posted on the AMA web site. Friday's speeds have yet to be posted. Unfortunately, the NATS News contributor became extremely ill at the beginning of the week and had to retreat for home. There simply was no one available to fill in.

If you join NASS you will be able to get the full report in the next issue of Speed Times.

Some time ago the AMA decided NOT to publish a daily "NATS NEWS" as they had in the past.  That is why.  The scores have always been available on the AMA Website but one day behind.  There was also some sort of "Daily Blog" of what was going on at the Nats.  My Opinon, the AMA really blew it by not continuing with the Nats News.

Just one more step in de-emphasizing competition activities.  :(

I really liked the coverage from the Nats News. Read it every day during the event.

Thanks for the link.  It has always been fascinating watching them compete.  The dedication and detail they have is really outstanding.  Too think that I have watched a couple of those youngster grow up flying/competing with model planes.   H^^
