After competing at Brodak's with my stock Fox powered home designed "stunter" of about 450 sq inch wing area I've come up with these suggestions for next year:
(1) Everyone runs the SAME engine that is available RIGHT NOW and run with supplied muffler (with engine technical inspection to top 3 finishers if necessary)
(2) No flying wings ,or combat planes, allowed. Must be a conventional "stunt type" plane with two wheels. Minimum Wing area of 500sq inches (like a Nobler or other "stunt plane")
(3) Before any official timing takes place the plane MUST perform 1 loop, 1 wingover, 1 lazy 8
(4) Fuel to be dispersed at a "pump around" manned by an official
(5) Line size 59'6" .015 C/L of plane to C/L of handle
(6)Minimum weight of 40 ounces less fuel
These are only my suggestions ,please jump in . BTW I had a great time flying my plane in my first "speed event"....Fraternally,PhillySkip

Funny, but a few weeks ago, I was looking at my Fox 35 powered Barnstormer that is seldom used and thought along similar lines. Less area, of course.
It's pretty fast when flying 2-4 and peaking the needle makes it really scoot... just like so many other Old Time Stunters. Serving double duty if I also chose to fly Old Time.
Easy to predict more entries.
