Monoline termination

What is the best way to terminate monoline wire at the twist unit end?  The fitting is a steel cylinder with a slot that the wire can slide into (see photo)

For flying small light models use the AMA method as can be found in the General section. For heavier models like D or Jet, it is a good idea to add a hook for the loop to connect with.
