I'm building a few speed models, I've got the bug.
I've made my torque unit and have plenty of information and pictures of those.
What I need are some pictures of monoline handles so I can see how others have gone about it so I don't have to re invent the wheel.
I have an as new Stanzel Torpedo unit, but have been advised that if I've only flown two line, it's instinctive to pull the handle up and then bend the drive wire making control all but impossible.
I was told it was better to have a conventional handle with a universal joint.
I have a spare Stanzel unit minus the handle, just have to make a new bobbin for that and the handle part.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated, especially if you have some pictures too.
Many thanks
John

Give me your name and address and i'll send you a diagram of a monoline handle. I had one a couple of years ago but sold it. Also have diagrams of the set up in the plane.

Hi Bill
Your letter and diagrams arrived in the mail today. It is exactly the information I was after.
I hope to make a handle soon, and will be building a trainer to give monoline a go.
Don't think I'll be making the Wisniewski handle just yet, but the universal joint shown in the drawing will be incorporated.
Many thanks indeed Bill
All the best
Cheers
John
