Tom,
Meant to ask, how is the ignition Perky coming along? I have been searching my (disorganized) shop for my Arden .19 point set. If I can find it, maybe I can give your Bantam some competition- just like 1947 again.

Hi Tom,
My mailing address is: William Stewart, 839 Tamlei Ave, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362.
Thanks in advance for a great Christmas present!
How is your Nelson Perky coming along? With Glen Dye's help I've gotten my early CS piped .15 modified to run on a minipipe, though it was necessary to correct wildly mis-machined shaft/crankcase porting. We plan a fun fly for New Year's Day.
Do you have Vee Gee drawings or plans? I've scaled a number of photos and have drawn a plan set which looks pretty accurate. Together with a Series 20 McCoy 60 (no shaft ignition cam), which might be converted to ignition via a prop spacer with cam and the points turned forward of their normal location, I may build a MonoLine Vintage ship.
All the best for the Holidays,
Will

I just opened the box yesterday. i got a new minature coil from -- GETTIG Engineering and Manufacturing Company / A Division of Gettig Technologies Incorporated / Miniature Airplane Coils. I test ran the engine t make sure it was a runner on ignition. the coil and 2 AA batteries should weigh about 3 oz. I might try to run it with AAA batteries. I'll use a booster battey for starting.
