Title: John Newton's passing
Post by: Jim Rhoades on June 28, 2024, 10:20:42 AM
I just noticed that no-one has mentioned the death of John Newton.  I believe it was the night of June 15, 2024.  John was a force to be recconed with from way back in the forties till the present.  I don't know the details but I understand that he was hospitalized a week prior then sent home and passed away in his sleep.
He was always a fierce competitor as well as a supplier of competitive airplanes and engines.  He will be missed.  I valued his friendship and competition for some 70 years.
    Rest in peace.
