Want to make wheels for my own use out of convenience mostly and i want to make my own shapes. I can make any kind of mold I need but, what compound do you use?
I found Axson UR-3558 polyurethane that they use to make skateboard wheels. Haven't found where to get it from yet.

Talked to Glen he said he had to by a 5 gallon pail that cost 1000 something dollars, that's allot of wheels.
Not as hard as skateboard wheels he said, more like 60A hardness.

Has anyone got wheels from Glen lately? I'm looking for a pair of 1-1/2" any color.

Still looking. The 1-1/2" wheels will measure close to 1-5/8ths. Called Glen Lee again and his phone's been disconnected.

Motorman - I've used polyurethane from Grainger or McMaster to beef up a trans mount. They sell it as a 1lb kit (base and hardener) in different hardness-es. Watch out though. It is really runny until it starts to thicken up.

Have you tried Mark Warwashana?
-
Do you need wheels for wire gear or for flat aluminum gear?
-
And so the search begins for Mark Warwashana contact info.
Wire gear for a Perky but I could make a press together hub for the bolt on wheels.

you might talk to Joe Just as well, he is a member here and he had racing wheels at one point
-
I'll sell you a pair of 1 5/8" Glenn Lee black wheels for 1/8" wire gear for $10.00 shipped, or a pair of 1 1/2" KK's for $12.00. Or buy both... All are new and unmolested. Send a PM if interested.
