That is funny video and far from being a compeitive F2A Speed ship. Looks like the pilot needed some training. While there at You Tube I looked at the record breaking light of an F2A speed plane. It was more like what you see in F2A competition. Pilot leading the plane for a lap or two to get it airborne and up on the pipe. You can tell when the pipe kicks in as the rotational speed increases quite a bit. H^^

I wonder how many noticed the built up wing with a flap that is most likely coupled with the elevator?
These fellows were having a whale of a good time with this! Judging from their laughter I would say there may have been adult beverages present.
The landing gear should have dropped if it were a true speed plane. I could be wrong about that.

The little Perky doesn't drop it's gear. Also the proto speed planes keep their gear. H^^

Formula 40 also has a wheel.
