Title: Fox .29 "BATHTUB" update
Post by: Bill Gruby on November 24, 2006, 09:30:28 AM
Joey;

Finally got a good enough day Wednesday to crank it up. here's what happened!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

25% nitro                   40% nitro
9-7 prop                      7-10 prop
19.4K RPM                   21.5K RPM
Bladder Tank               Bladder Tank

Noise level--Don't know can't hear yet. Let's just say I have some neighbors behind me that are less than impressed-OOOOOPS

The Rpm reflects a 10% error for antiquated equipment and us Humans.

Not all that shabby for 50yrs. old.

It took all of us back to a time when things were a lot simpler.

Thanks for all the help in making this memory trip possible.

29's are B engines. Build a B Proto or B Team Racer for it. That will be really cool.

B proto speed is no longer an AMA event.  B team race is a NCLRA event and flown at the nats.

It doesn't matter if it is an event or not , we just wanna go round and round real fast. We don't fly competetion.

I was always taught that all babies gotta learn to crawl before they can walk? Isn't it kinda early for a PAN AND HEAVY-DUTY BELLCRANK? Then again????????????  n~ n~

cool Bill!
i have an x-40 rat engine mounted in a pan---been thinking about having oldest son(21yr old tuff guy)
hold it while i run a prime through it.if he dosnt runaway and hide i might fill up the tank!
he thinks hes tough guy launching old ama fast combat(on 10%---if only he knew!!)

Tell you neighbors your test running a new fuel effecint weed eater/leaf blower engine and they will love the noise!

B proto speed is no longer an AMA event.

I know Tom, but they are pretty, look like an airplane, and are period for the engine.
