We had a small but dedicated group of speed junkies show up to fly today in Middlesex, N.J. Conditions were overcast, 35-40 degrees and 8-14 breeze. Perfect!!
Results: Perky Ernie Evon 89.33 Mk2 Rossi APC 6.5x5
Dennis Warcohl 89.00 Early Conquest APC 6.5x5
Fox Speed Al Ferraro 107.9 trimmed APC 8x8
T Schaefer 105.9 same
J Vigani 103.7 same
Commentary: The cold weather shortened our day a bit so, instead of trying to get in a couple of more flights, we all agreed to hit the diner to warm up! Another noticeable thing was how much we had to open the needles. It took me a few attempts to complete a flight on my Fox as I was running out of fuel. Finally got a flight with 14.25 laps and put 'er away! Hopefully, like Mr. Paul, we will get a little building in this winter. Cheers, TS
