When the team was here in St. Louis a couple weeks ago, Bill Hughes said Chris wasn't quite up to par and they were going to work on things that weekend. I was busy with my Fox .35 speed model and didn't pay too close attention to officials except to time. We'll just have to wait for a report. I can only imagine mechanical issues.
Carl Dodge just decided that since he was returning as the current World Champ, he was going to go out with the same model he came in with, the one he first won the World Champs with back in the 70's. It's has an update TWA engine in it. and he flew it here in the high 250 KPH range I believe. He said he just couldn't keep up with the new stuff anymore, so he decide to go out the way he came in. I think it was a cool move! I just hope he had his old gear to wear just for giggles and grins. Carl is a class guy!
   Type at you later,
    Dan McEntee
