Bellcrank for Perky
« on: July 22, 2018, 05:29:50 PM »
Hi Guys,

What type of bellcrank should I be using on a Perky? I am likely using a Fox 15 BB Schnuerle, although that plan might change.

I have Sig nylon 3" bellcranks, some used/recycled F2D bellcranks, and I think I have a few aluminum ones around.

Thanks
Chris

Thanks MM, the measurements would be helpful. How much elevator throw should the Perky have?

I use a Brodak 2 inch nylon.  Had some issues with metal bellcranks wearing due to harmonics.  Running a high RPM Super Fora.  No issues with the nylon crank.  Use inner hole.   1/4 inch up and down is plenty of control.
