Double Deuce:
Pains me no end to note the passing of two time World F2A Champion, and great friend, Arnold Nelson.

He fought a good fight, but lost it yesterday, 16 Feb

My thoughts are with Betty and the Kids, and Grandkids, and Great-grandkids.

No services are planned.

 Here's Arnie's son with a Russian model from his Dad's (up until now) never opened model box. These were indeed very advanced for the time. Photo taken At Napa 2014.

 Here's another one with Arnie's winning (modified) Pink Lady type model.  It would be an understatement to say that Arnie was reserved. Years ago, when I asked Arnie what was required to win the World championships he said:  "A LOT of time spent in the shop".  A formula that STILL works to this very day!
