AMA blog, about CL speed
« on: November 28, 2016, 10:04:51 AM »
The folks at AMA often have nice surprises. I was looking for a pic of Mike Hazel's "the move" and came across this. It's from June or July, so pretty recent.

PS, anyone have a pic of "the move" formula 40 or C speed set up

yah, the D engine is really interesting. Going to make an aluminum drum to replace the heavy steel one. Waiting on the spinner to arrive from down under so I can fit it all into a pan. The piston and liner fit are really sweet.

I'll keep an eye on this one, - the D Speed MDS (if I can remember).
I've got one of those engines.
Ian Russell.
[I can remember the schedule o.k., the problem is remembering what was the last manoeuvre I just flew!].

All of the exterior mods are made...it now fits in the cowling.
Just located some 7068 alum to remake the drum, so it should be a few more weeks before I get part 2 published.
