Harter "S" Pan?

What is a Harter "S" pan good for? This one is mag, and is unused.

Hmmm. I will try to take a picture tomorrow and include some dimensions. It isn't very long, but is kind of fat. Maybe it is for one of those newfangled electricalities with the plastic smokebox, buttrees and whars in it? Or maybe not....

Ok, guys here's the boring story:  after I cleaned off the pan and looked at it in decent lighting, I can clearly see it is a "C" pan. I didn't see the marking towards the front. Instead, I mistook the "S" in "HARTER ' S" for a size, after missing the apostrophe....

Which goes to show that a blind acorn can confuse the squirrels....

Sorry for the confusion.
