Build is nearly complete for new Fox and Perky Speed planes. Fox speed uses a box stock fox 35, hope to break 90mph. Perky uses a F2D engine (Fora) looking for 110mph. Should be a step up from my 2017 entries. More pix to follow.

I would sure like to know how you made your bends in the LG legs with the alum. tubing on them. To get good bends in my .25" LG wire I have to use a medium size vise and a hammer to get decently shaped bends and if I used a alum. tubing it would have to be 1.5" shorter than the LG leg because of the size of the vise?

Yeah!
The landing gear attachment on inverted Perkys has always been something of a mystery to me. And it still is.

The trick to bending 1/8" music wire is to instead use 3/32" instead :). I can use pliers and get good bends. Makes the aluminum fairing easy because I can do all the bends except the last one, attach the fairings and then make the last bend. I know some people soften the wire, bend and then reharden but I find my results to be unsatisfactory. The 3/32 is more springy but that is ok for these events.

Looking good Dave. You're about 4 months ahead of my build for next year.
