I got to meet Joey Mathison and Arleigh Valentine today. There were others there also, but I'm afraid I can't remember their names. Joey let me help start one of the "Jets" it was a blast. Those puppies are LOUD up close. It was the highlight of my trip to Whittier Narrows. I wish I could have stayed longer. I took a few pictures but I will have to wait till I get home to post them.

HI BILL, I hope Joey was good to you , and now that you have seen JETS fly you can under stand why I told you not to think about using a JET on a ringmaster.

Robert,

Good to hear you are planning on next years Nats. I also look forward to seeing you there and giving you some competition in Sport Jet. I may even have a Fast Jet to fly too. I'm getting tired of trying to fly Stunt at the Nats as well as Speed. It's hard to do justice to both and the typical high winds take all the fun out of Stunt. I'd love to make it to your Nats some time but I'm afraid it probably won't fit into my finances. But then again, who knows.

Jim Id be thrilled too fly against you and help out as much I can. My wife has given it the ok so its just a matter of saving some dollars and getting over there... The thought of meeting up with a lot of people I have emailed over the years is going to be great

I hope to fly fastjet and sportjet. My goal for the comp is a pretty easy one as long as I get a timed run in for each I will be over the moon.

I think you would of seen one of my fastjet planes already!

Patrick had it at the nats. I have a few more in the pipe line at the moment. My new Sportjet model has been built looks great but just needs the test fly, I will have to send you some pics.

Just waiting for the confirmed dates for the nats then I can book tickets.

You should have Bill Gruby use the old buzz box with alligator clips to start a few jets. They have taken all the fun out of starting the jets.

Hey Willis, in the photo of you launching the jet, who's the skinny dude in the funny hat? Couldn't be anyone I know who was that skinny. Hey, when Joey comes home how bout you'all come to Huntersville and fly speed or stunt or whatever you like. Both circles are 75" radius repaved.
