Hi Chaps,
CLAMF Aerosports competition today (Sunday) with Combined and Perky Speed, Navy Carrier and Mini-Goodyear.
Andrew Nugent was very unfortunate to have his beautifully turned-out Perky catch fire... and did not even manage one flight after being extensively refurbished... a sad loss for the Perky brotherhood....
Cheers,
Paul

Andrew is a chef by occupation. He would not be happy with today's burnt offerings. S?P

gives a whole new meaning to put a shrimp on the barby

How in the heck did that happen? ???

Andrews answer is, "I guess it was my fault as I primed the thing with the battery connected. We learn the hard way".

That is sad to see. But, I know he will probably have it ready to go in short time. This is one of the reason a long gone scale racer in our fraternity always had a fire extingisher in his pit. Gerry "The Who" Meyer is still missed.

Or a "Perky on the barby!"
