"Morris" Style Pulley Bellcranks

“Morris” Style Pulley Bellcranks

Pulley bellcranks like those supplied by the late Ned Morris are available again.  The body of the units is made from chrome molly steel.  The pulleys and pivot pins are also steel.  The center bushing is brass as were Neds.
The pivot pin diameter for the pulleys was increased from .070 used by Ned to .093 diameter to allow the use of a commercially available pin.  This change required that the minor diameter of the line grove on the pulley be increased to .155 from .125.   Each bellcrank is supplied with a tin plated headed 3/32” steel pin that can be used for a pivot pin in the model.  If a larger diameter pivot pin is desired there is stock in the center brass bushing to allow the hole to be increased to .135 diameter.
There is also a Sport Jet model offered that uses a steel bushing for the bolt to tighten down on similar to the design of the old Perfect Bellcranks.  This was done to eliminate the side load that the previous design applied to the pivot bolt used on most Sport Jets.
The Heavy Duty 1 3/4” unit is also available for use in Formula 40 and Sport Jet models.  Any of the sizes listed below are $20.00 each plus $2.50 postage per order for First Class postage or $4.10 for USPS Priority postage.
The sizes offered are:

1 ½”    tested to 108 LBS
1 ¾”     tested to  80 LBS
2”         tested to   60 LBS
