Been away from this stuff WAY too long. finally got the back fixed...then an inner ear infection got me.
Don't know if I'll be flying this summer...have to wait and see.
In the mean time the print shop I was using went out of business...I found a new place 2 weeks ago that does a great job.
Anyway...here is one that I'll be kitting by the beginning of next week!
It's a built up body, 1/2A Oriental. All up weight is 7-1/2oz with a Black Widow up front.
Wing span is 26"  Length is 17-1/2.
What's different about this style of kit is that it can be built for the COX .049 tanked engines, the COX Production motors, or a beam mount motor.
Also the motor can be installed cylinder either up or down. The kit will have all the different and necessary parts for all three types of installations.
With a Black Widow it balances right at 18%...should be a great flyer.
Another thing I'm doing with this style of kit is...the 1/32" doublers are pre-laminated to fuselage side material, and then they are machined as one piece...a lot more accurate. Also the top of the fuselage is CNC pre-carved. A little sanding will blend it to the fuselage sides.
I have to do a little more on the instruction book yet. That's why I need another week.
The kit will come with  Full size plans, Instructions, Bell Crank, Lead out wires, Landing gear, Push rod, Elevator joiner, Polyester hinges, and the canopy.

Here is a pix of the parts for the 1/2A Oriental.
It's a built up fuselage BUT the entire top piece of the fuselage is CNC carved to shape.
