Hi all!
« on: March 09, 2015, 01:49:55 PM »
Greg Rodney here. I've been lurking and learning in Stunthanger for quite awhile.
As I was approaching retirement I knew I wanted to do something other than just get older. After retiring from 40+ years in manufacturing and wearing different hats…Machinist, Senior CNC Programmer, Engineer…I decided to design and build my own CNC router. While bringing it to life, I saw the Disney movie Planes promo before the movie was released. I wanted a “CROPDUSTER” but no one was producing a kit. So I found Larry Kruz' plan, produced the AutoCAD drawing, wrote the programming and cut my own.

I decided this could be a nice hobby/business. My goal is to produce kits that are not available anywhere else and get some unique planes in the air. In the next few days I'll be listing the kits I am producing so far. I also do custom cutting and rib lofting. I'm mainly a technical kind of person so this internet posting stuff...I'm not so fast at.

My kits are cut with a 90,000 rpm spindle and the machine holds an accuracy of +/- .001. The kits come with all hardware, rolled full size plans and an instruction booklet with pictures, pre-shaped leading edge, and full length spars and trailing edges.

Thanks for looking,
Greg

I haven't shipped to Canada yet, but like marriage and having kids there's a first time for everything!

The big 48" is kitted,  just not a lot available yet.   It's a great kit also.   Greg said he will have the info up here very soon.
