Vendors Corner > Southridge CNC

FYI

(1/1)

Greg Rodney:
Hey guys, Unfortunately I have to announce the closing of Southridge CNC. I won't be making kits anymore. Many of you know about my worsening back problems, well it ain't getting any better. The stairs down to the shop are getting almost impossible for me to go up or down.
Some of you know I've been having lung problems. The masses growing in each one are in locations that can't be biopsied without opening me up for a look see. THAT AIN”T HAPPENING!
Last July during one of my trips in an MRI to see if the lung stuff was spreading to the lymph nodes, they discovered the prostate cancer. Stage 2.
One good thing, the biopsies on the left arm came back... 2 benign, 1 pre-melinoma.
All the Docs are telling me about the great wonder drugs and treatments available and that I should beat this stuff, but it's going to be 90 miles of bad road getting there.
THANK YOU to everyone who purchased one of my kits. I hope they went together well and flew good.

'Don't you trust your doctors either?  When I tried to make our local property monitor I over worked my back which resulted in an old injury flaring up and caused both hips and lower so much pain I could not move.  The doctors didn't believe me.   Said I needed and MRI.  I could only lay on my right side curled up im a fetus position to stop the pain.  But, the wife and doctors said I had to do it.  So I tried to lay on that narrow table and even tried to stand next to an x-ray machine, but I was in so much pain I was crying,  yes crying.   So we go to emergency room where they were supposed to do it, but I wouldhave to stay over night and be put to sleep the next day.  I refused.   So the doctor subscribed some strong pain meds and antibiotics.   Finally got to where I could lay down on my back.   But that MRI table is so narrow ny mind kept telling me I was going to fall off.  Did not have any pillows like the MRI in Texas had.  So I suffered through it and said never again unless I am put out.  It has been a month or more and I have used the pain meds and some of the antobiotics.   Hjust in the last two weeks able to lay on left side, but in a fetal position.  Some times wake up flat on my back.  The Knee hurt so  I take a tramodol with a cracker and go back to sleep after taking care nature with a small bladder.   As I type this I'm sitting here with no pain and just came back from dinner at Pegas Restaurant.  I now tak some pills for bed time and some when I wake up.   Even got out to the shop twice this week and flown my quad chopper in the back yard.  It is something new to challenge me as it is different than an RC plane.   So ease up on your self and not try so hard or teach some one to take over your business.   D>K

Thanks for making those kits.  I just was photographing a couple of the kits (Baby Cropduster and Mini-gician) and found them to be top quality.

best of luck on your journey through the medical system,

Peter
