Gentlemen,
Attached are photos of my latest Stand Off Scale model aircraft. It is actually a Jim Silhavy "Magician" (published January 1951).
Below are particulars of the aircraft:
AIRCRAFT WEIGHTS:
engine, muffler, & fuel system 13.0 oz
wing & landing gear system 15.7 oz
fuselage 5.0 oz
vertical stabilizer & rudder 0.4 oz
horizontal stabilizer & elevator 2.2 oz
covering & paint 4.1 oz
tip weight 0.7 oz
TOTAL WEIGHT 41.1 oz
Engine: OS Max 35 S (purchased in approx 1980)
Fuel Tank: Sullivan 4 oz slant (used because on hand)
Notice the Stooge loop at the rear of the aircraft.
The front Control Line is UP.
I build in to the outboard wing tip 75% of the expected tip weight.
The CG (center of gravity) is .25 behind the design CG.
The aircraft is completely covered with Silkspan.

Gentlemen,
For some reason two of the photos were not attached. Must be my computer skills.
Below is the second attempt to attach the photos.

That looks great. Amazing what can be accomplished when we put our mind to it. How does it fly? DOC Holliday

"Attached are photos of my latest Stand Off Scale model aircraft. It is actually a Jim Silhavy "Magician" (published January 1951)."
I believe you are 8-10 years off of the date. No, not back to 1941, because that would've been before Jim was born, or when he was still just a toddler. The first Magician was built about 1958 or 1959.
