Watkins Scale Clinic - June 11-13
« on: March 02, 2010, 04:18:01 PM »
The Rocky Mountain Aeromodelers (Denver, Colorado area) is sponsoring a Control Line scale clinic on June 11-13 in Wakins, Colorado. This is a no pressure event to learn about CL scale, trim out our scale model, discuss documentation, and other topics related to CL scale. There will be no entry fees, no awards, but there will be lots of flying and opporitunity to get ready for the Nats or just have fun. This event is NOT sponsored by the AMA. The event will run over a three day period, you can attend all three days or just attend one day. Feel free to bring that scale model that you have wanting to get airborne.

Check out the website for all the information, please E-mail the RMA for pre-registration to get directions to the flying site in Watkins, Colorado.

The flying site itself is winner also, probably the best I have even flown at. I understand the distance problem!

If it is being held as Lynn Boss' place I will you can not find a better place to fly.  Is he going to flood the circle pond for float flying?  All I can say is anybody that can go should.   H^^

I wish I could. I love the statement at the bottom of the page. This is not an AMA event. no points, no trophy's etc.
I love the clear cut statement. No questions here. I wish the best to all.

We are planning the Scale Clinic for June for those interesting in trimming out their scale models, learning more about electronic controls. We will also have electric powered models there if you are interested about that subject.

I just finished looking at NATS results and the thought hit me.  How did the Colorado Scale Get Together come out?  Did anybody show up?  Also pictures if any.  Even tho I don't fly scale would have loved to been there.  H^^
