Allen,
Thanks to you and Charlie for representing us. It is a shame that this is the last time.

Also a big thanks to you and Mike Keville for creating pockets of interest in scale again. I have never been involved in scale, but I sure can appreciate what is accomplished by the few that are still active and helping to stir up some interest.

JUST GOT BACK FROM ACCROSS THE POND.  9+ HOUR FLIGHT, 4 HOUR DRIVE HOME, NEEDLESS TO SAY, "I'M BEAT". 9th. WAS THE BEST I COULD DO. THE POLS REALLY ARE THAT GOOD. (1,2,&3.) FAI SCALE IS TOUGH WHEN COMPETING WITH THE REST OF THE WORLD. MAYBE IT WILL COME BACK SOME DAY, I HOPE.
MADE LOTS OF NEW FRIENDS, WE WERE RIGHT NEXT THE THE UKRAN'S IN THE HANGER, GOOD GUYS. THERE WERE AROUND 90 AIRPLANES IN 4 CLASSES, F4B, F4C, F4H, AND F4G. C/L STARTED WITH 18. HERE ARE SOME PICS. ENJOY.

BLESSINGS

Congrats on the 9th place finish.  Yes world competition is tough.  But, look at the experience and knowledge you have gained.  In my years of modeling, Scale was like some other events, very popular in some areas and not so in others.  I think the NATS was always the big one in our country.   H^^

Mr. Goff,

The sheer magnitude of your achievement just building and finishing that beautiful Waco makes you a champion in my mind.

Outstanding!

Allen,
I noticed a pic of you and Alex Babychev. Alex had all of us to his mothers house in 1982. He is a good friend. I am glad you got to meet him. Good work on your flying.

Allen,

Congratulations on the nice finish and being there to carry the torch for us (US).  Can you give us a breakdown of what happened and how the event was conducted?

Also, how did you ship your model?

Regards,

That next-to-last picture of the tracks approaching the concentration camp gives me cold chills - what a terrifying sight that must have been for those on the trains!

Thanks again Alan for the pics.  Thanks also to the other team members for representing our country.  Such beautiful country to have gone thru what they have in the past.  The one pic does give a person kind of an eerie feeling with all the open space.
