Who (if anyone?) remembers Tom Dean's Nats-winning 'Aeronca Crop Duster'? Reportedly authentic in every detail, down to internal framework, his Cameron .19-powered entry was a many-time Nats winner in CL Scale. I never saw it personally...just recall the write-ups in what USED TO BE model magazines. Am kind of wondering what ever happened to it. Anyone know?

I never saw the model, but it was said that it looked more real each year it competed. Must have been some model.

I only recall one picture of it published - MAN November 58.

I remember an Ambroid ad with the model and him featured and I seem to remember a Jetco add when they used his talents as a designer and featured him in one ad.

he would leave it on the work table in the big work hanger and u could walk by and look at it . ,he would try to fly early and than watch everyone else try to beat him it took 6 engines and two jetx's to finally beat him
