Hi, Chris!
Did son Michael go on to finish his Mr. Mulligan (with Great Lakes cowl)?

Just wondering about this post, are you possibly going to build one yourself? (I have a kit I am itching to start on, one of my favorites!)

Walter, congrats on your recent win up there in Pacific N.W. I met you in Visalia, where you were building a Flying Fool, and completing a Nobler. (1984?)

Hi Mike,
No he didn't, but we just moved to Tucson and he is a freshman at UA here in town and so we see each other often. He said something to the effect of wanting to finish it when we were picking up models from my Cali hangar. So there is hope.
Yes, I wanted to build one for myself, so I bought yet another kit. Bob Parker is in town and his cool old timey Scale model builds get me going so... I have some NOS McCoy and K&B engines in the needed sizes for smaller Scale models and I'd just be messing around anyway, but period correct 60's style stuff turns me on.

Man after my own heart, as usual!
I bought 2 Mr. Mulligans, 2 Sterling Monocoupes, a Sterling Great Lakes and a Sterling PT17 over the last 15 years, to satisfy my '60s appetite...also have a plethora of engines as you mentioned.

Now, Michael going to Ariz State...Time flies!

My Berkeley Pitts is still unfinished, but now I have amassed all the hard to find stuff; thanks once again for the metal cowl parts!

Good luck with your move, glad to hear from you.

Uh,
That's University of Arizona here in Tucson. ASU is that other school in Phoenix... :)!

I still have a parcel of Berkeley kits too, Cosmic Wind, Swee Pea and Shoestring, Lil Stinker, and T-28 as well as some others. The old TF P-51D is a big favorite here, I have two at least. Sterling stuff includes the old C-9 Corsair, oh so many...
