Title: Scale test scans for today...Nuttin beats n' German fighters
Post by: Shultzie on January 28, 2009, 08:40:30 PM
First shot...is Mark Freeman from Portland...who not only flew the greatest lookin semi-scale stunt models but his scale models were equally beautiful
Next shot is a fantastic rendition of that infamously famous German Ace's fighter plane at some nationals...(between 68-70?)
Last shot was one of our modelers from Tacoma who was taking a preflight lesson from the owner of this amazing replica. As I remember the take off was a bit on the tipseetaaatrrrr' wobbleee side but once off the ground....he flew like he had been flying it for years.

Anyone knows these two other modelers...One I think was from Tacoma and the other at the nats...didn't ask his name.

More nice stuff. Thanks Don.
The Freeman model is superb, reminds me of Dick Loomis's red one at the '68 Nats.
Detailing on the D-7 bipe is awesome.
