Scale P-51-B

First off I will qualify this post.  C/L flying is to have your hand in direct control of the models control surfaces.

The photos were taken by me several years ago at Mt. Comfort Airport in Indianapolis.

The "Model" is a 7/8 scale model of a P-51b.  Power is 850 HP inverted V12 air cooled Ranger engine.    Construction is fiberglass over wood.

They built it in a garage and when they went to remove it from the garage there were two steel posts in the driveway that were closer together that the door width.  A big wrecker had to bend the posts out of the way to get the plane out of the garage.
Sorry, I do not remember the builders shown names, just that they lived in the Indianapolis area.
